*Troubleshooting Tips for the Webinar Room:
Check your Webinar Meeting Connection by clicking here.

If you are having troubles accessing the webinar room at all, check the basics:

• Turn off any popup blockers (from your browser's Preferences setting).
• Make sure that you have the most updated version of Adobe Flash Player.
• Try clearing your browser's cache.
• If you get a blank gray screen, try hitting the REFRESH button a few times.

• If the above does not work, reboot your computer and re-launch the webinar with no other programs open.

If you are accessing the webinar from a company which uses a proxy server to control internet access, this may affect your ability to access Acrobat Connect. Try the following:
• Within Internet Explorer select Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab.
• Enable the setting Use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections and click OK.
• Close all browser windows and re-open before trying to connect to the webinar again.

If you are having troubles logging in:
If you can't get in with your username and password, sign in as a guest.
Inside the Webinar:

If you are consistently having a bad experience watching webinars even outside of the live meeting sessions (ie when trying to view recorded webinars):

• Be sure you are using the latest version of Firefox.

• If you have accesses to another PC (preferably with the same network connection) try connecting from another computer, or try watching a recorded webinar to eliminate PC configuration issues.

• Monitor your latency. You can do this by clicking on the green button on the top-right of the screen during live meetings. Compare your marks with the “host's” marks during the live meetings and see how they compare. Lower numbers (100 or lower) are better than higher numbers.

• If no one is responding or it seems that they can't see what you are writing, check the options (click and hold the arrow on the bottom right of the chat window to see the options), to make sure you have selected, “everyone.”

Sound and Video Help:

NOTE: If you are on a 56 kb/sec modem on dial-up (slow band width) you may be unable to hear the audio or see the video properly.

If you cannot hear any sound, make sure your internal speakers are turned up and not set to mute.

If you are finding that video and audio are choppy, go under the meeting tab and select "my connection speed." According to your current connection, upgrade it to DSL/Cable or LAN.

If you think you have set up the video and sound properly, yet can't see or hear anything, then you might need to quit your browser and relaunch, for your settings to update and start working.

If you lose sound during a webinar, close your windows, quit your browser and then re-launch the webinar.

If you are participating with camera and voice, make sure that your camera is plugged in and recognized by your computer before entering the meeting. If not, camera drivers might need to be updated or installed. It is recommended that new users run the Audio Setup Wizard under the Meeting menu, located on the upper-left corner of the Acrobat Connect Professional meeting interface. Also be sure to grant access permission to Flash Player for the camera and microphone in the dialog box that appears when starting the broadcast. For advanced troubleshooting, use the Online Adobe Flash Player Setttings Manager.
