Genevieve Chua

With over 20 years of experience supporting families and professionals, Genevieve Chua is a dedicated psychologist and educator specialising in guiding individuals with autism toward genuine, lasting progress.

Early in her career, she recognised that behaviour-focused approaches often lacked the depth needed to foster true independence. Her search for a more meaningful, relationship-based approach led her to Relationship Development Intervention (RDI®) in 2005. Since then, she has worked closely with countless families, helping parents become mindful guides in their child’s developmental journey.

As an RDI® Consultant and Supervisor, Genevieve has also mentored and trained numerous professionals, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to facilitate dynamic thinking, social referencing, and emotional regulation in their clients. As the Director of Children’s Partnership, she is leading the launch of Southeast Asia’s RDI® Professional Training Center—providing comprehensive training, supervision, and mentorship for professionals seeking certification as RDI® Certified Consultants.

Genevieve’s mission is twofold: to empower parents with strategies that create meaningful change at home and to train professionals who can deliver high-quality, relationship-based interventions. Through her work, she is shaping a community dedicated to fostering independence, resilience, and genuine connections for individuals living with autism.
