About Aniqa

Dr. Aniqa Sohail is a pediatrician, Head of Pediatrics at WAPDA Teaching Hospital Lahore, and a passionate autism advocate with over two decades of medical and community leadership. A gold medalist from King Edward Medical College and certified Lifestyle Medicine Consultant (DipIBLM, USA), she combines scientific expertise with compassion to create meaningful impact for children and families.

Her personal journey as a mother of a young adult with severe autism shaped her mission. From early struggles to building opportunities for her son, she transformed challenges into a national movement. She founded HELP Autism Pakistan and ISAL School, which provide therapy, education, vocational training, and sports. She also launched Asad’s Woven Wonders, a vocational brand showcasing her son’s weaving talent and inspiring families worldwide.

Dr. Aniqa has trained universities, professionals, and thousands of parents across Pakistan, empowering families to become active guides in their children’s growth. She has collaborated with the Government of Pakistan’s Special Education Department and played a vital role in introducing certificate courses and structured training programs for therapists and educators.

Recognized as a speaker, trainer, and pioneer in autism care, she is described as most experienced and “matchless” in her ability to inspire hope and resilience. Now becoming an RDI Consultant, she continues to bridge science and humanity—proving that with the right guidance and trust, children with autism can achieve remarkable growth, and families can find joy in the journey.
