About Irena
She is also the founder of KIDS&CO by Dječji vrtić Kreativni dani, a private preschool educational institution in Zagreb, Croatia. Her interest in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental differences grew directly from her daily work and close observation of children’s development within this educational setting. Through years of working with children, parents, and families, she has gained valuable insight into the importance of early relationships, guided participation, emotional regulation, and authentic communication in child development. In her professional work, Irena integrates her extensive practical experience in early childhood education with the knowledge gained through her ongoing graduate studies in psychology. Her work is strongly focused on early childhood development, parent-child relationships, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and other developmental challenges.
In addition to her RDI® work, Irena is pursuing further training in constructivist psychotherapy, which deepens her understanding of personal meaning-making, emotional development, and the ways in which individuals construct their experience of themselves, others, and relationships.
Irena believes in the power of relationships, trust, and meaningful communication as essential foundations for child development, parental growth, and transformative educational and therapeutic work.
