About Mini
Mini Dwivedi Gopinathan has been providing services in the field of Autism Spectrum Disorders since the past 8 years. She is passionate about creating tools for Autism treatment. Respect and dignity for people on the spectrum are the corner stones of her practice. She set up a school and a clinic called “PlayStreet Specially Abled Educare Trust” for providing various therapies under a single roof. PlayStreet extended RDI services in 2016 after Mini became an RDI consultant-in-Training.
Being a mother of an adolescent on the Autism Spectrum, Mini believes in empowering families to deal with Autism. She introduced training on RDI awareness to parents of students enrolled in the PlayStreet School Program. She has also conducted training on RDI for students enrolled in diploma course for Special Education, KPAMRC, Bangalore.
She has received Women Icons Award in 2017 by BERG Singapore for excellence and innovation is the field of Special Education. She was Goodwill Ambassador for “Ramp the Cause – 2018” for representing inclusion of children with special needs in the mainstream, organised by Faith Foundation, Bangalore and Sanrakshan Pte. Ltd, Singapore. She is listed in the book highlighting 100 working women achievers of India in 2017-18. She will be receiving PIONEERING WOMAN LEADER AWARD at 7th Edition of World Woman Leadership Congress in Feb 2020 for her professional achievement for pioneering individual in your thoughts, attitude, resolve & a contributor of value.
