About Stephannie
Stephannie Motuz MSc. is a Speech-Language Pathologist who has been providing communication therapy for children at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children in Winnipeg, since 1993. Her professional area of interest is in Socio-Cognitive & Language Development in children with severe developmental delay.
She is a certified Relationship Development Intervention® Program consultant, supporting the families and schools of children who are diagnosed with Autism and other related developmental disorders. Stephannie shares her area of expertise at national and international conferences and locally with parents, educators, allied health care providers, university programs, graduate students and community support staff.
Currently she is the clinical lead of the Specialized Communication Resources for Children department where she and her colleagues provide therapy, teach classes, and compile and manage an impressive lending library of adapted learning materials, AAC devices, toys and children’s books. She also mentors graduate students as well as lends a hand in the Child Development Clinic as a member of the Autism Diagnostic Team.
