Keeping Your Marriage Strong

by | Feb 14, 2018 | Family Life

No matter your life circumstances, marriage is never easy. Throw in a child with special needs and the fragility can increase at an alarming rate. Some studies have shown that the divorce rate for parents of children with ASD are as much as 10% higher than the average population!

At RDI®, we believe that your marriage is important and worth nurturing and that putting yourselves first, as a couple, is the most important thing you can do for you family, ASD or not. In this webinar recorded for the RDI® Learning Community, Kat Lee shares the wisdom she has gained as an RDI® Consultant and, more importantly, as a wife and mother of a child on the spectrum.

I just listened to keeping your marriage strong on YouTube. The timing was perfect and just what I needed to hear in my marriage. It is true that I think that those not personally affected in their immediate family by ASD do not realize how much the diagnosis and all that goes with it can tax a marriage. I loved listening to your personable style. Thank you for taking your own time, which is precious, and offering this YouTube video. It was just comforting to know that I was not alone in the stress of a marriage impacted by special needs. Bless you.
